Please follow the below steps:
- Log in to All Platforms:
- Use the same browser where the extension is installed.
- Sync All Platforms:
- Click the SC icon in your browser toolbar.
- Select the ‘Sync All Platforms’ option as shown in the image below.
Are some of your platforms stuck at "Waiting for Login"?
Luckily, there is a quick fix: simply click on the "Go to login" link to go directly to the platform login screen and get that link up and running again.
Why does this happen? We know it can be frustrating to log into ScribeCount in the morning and see platforms in the "Waiting for Login" status. The reason is that some platforms do not retain logins once a window has been closed (or will sometimes log out even if the window remains open). They're trying to maintain your data security, and this is just one of the downstream implications of that! Over time, we hope to work with each platform to make the process as seamless as possible for authors, while still maintaining good standards of data security.
